The Torex Extrabend Anti-Wear Elbow is a polymer-cast, short-radius pipe elbow designed for use as a link in pneumatic conveying ducts. Its innovative geometry creates a "dead zone" at the point of material diversion, significantly reducing wear by generating an internal turbulence that protects the elbow from abrasive powder or granular materials traveling through the duct. Made from SINT engineering polymer, it offers elasticity that prevents particle breakage, grinding, and jamming, ensuring smooth material flow.

This elbow excels in dilute phase pneumatic conveying systems under both vacuum and positive pressure conditions, supporting low-pressure applications up to 1.5 bar (22 PSI). It is lightweight yet durable, with minimal maintenance needs and no risk of clogging or product contamination.
