Problem

Following the relocation of a major cement supplier’s facility, the client required a reliable blending and bulk handling system suited to the new site configuration. The solution needed to ensure accurate pre-blending for the bagging line while also allowing flexible transfer of materials into storage silos or road-going tankers. Consistent mix quality, efficient throughput and seamless integration with site operations were key priorities.

Solution

We worked closely with site and subcontract engineers to design and deliver a tailored material handling package. A Compact Blending Plant was developed using pivoted weigh screw technology to draw material from four silos and deliver a precisely pre-blended feed to the bagging plant in line with required recipes. In addition, a Silo Blender and Tanker Out Loading Station was installed, employing pivoted weigh screws to blend materials into storage silos or directly into tankers via loading bellows.

Outcome

The completed system provided accurate, recipe-matched blending and flexible bulk loading capability within the relocated facility. The integrated design improved handling efficiency, maintained consistent product quality and supported reliable ongoing production, ensuring a smooth transition to full operation at the new site.
