Also known as rotary seals and air locks, rotary valves are the ideal solution for controlled discharging, metering, feeding and airlock applications of powdery or granular materials from silos, hoppers, pneumatic conveying systems, bag filter houses, or cyclones. The Torex range is also compatible with other WAMGROUP equipment, thanks to the WAM standard flanges.

Drop-Through rotary valves are the most common rotary valves with a robust and compact design, it feeds material that falls through the inlet, moves down through the rotary vanes where it drops out the bottom outlet flange.  This design is capable of feeding materials in a vast array of applications. Though Drop-Through rotary valves are mainly used for relatively free-flowing, non-cohesive materials.

The Drop-Through rotary valve design allows easy access to all internal mechanical components which enables the cleaning to be a quick and easy process, as the internal design can be accessed without dismantling convey line connections.
