Inquip was requested for a site visit, where the client had an old worn-out rotary valve which was causing irregular product flow.
Project Requirements
After inspecting and taking measurements, it was established that a simple replacement could not bolt into place. The team also identified that the alignment into the screw below was off-centre. Inquip designed drawings to present to the client which showed the preparation of the upper and lower transitions to make the new Rotary Valve fit in place and correct the chut misalignment.
Project Solution
Our team supplied and installed the Rotary Valve. As the system was DC controlled, we were able to save the customer money by keeping the original motor, this meant it was a simple plug-and-play. Feedback from the client advised that it “fit perfectly”.
Our team was then instructed by the client to look at other areas of the plant to improve reliability and efficiency.
