OLI Aeration Pad I100
Fluidisation pads allow perfect flow for a variety of materials during discharging of the bin or silo.
Unlike Pneumatic Hammers, Hammer Blasts and Air Cannons, fluidisation pads by OLI are used as a preventive measure.
A variety of materials will show perfect mass flow as soon as a certain amount of air is added at regular intervals during discharging of the bin or silo. In this case the action is gentle. The air-enriched material gains the desired flowability. At the same time, possible tendencies of the product to bridge, rat-hole, go lumpy or deposit are prevented. Thanks to the semi-convex shape of the durable polymer Fluidisation Pads, air is given off at a wide emission angle. A certain number of pads are mounted on the same level inside of the silo cone. If due to poorer flow properties one row isn’t enough, further rows with an even greater number of pads can be added above.
Features
The I100 fluidizing plates work at an operating pressure of 0.2 bar (3 PSI) and guarantee high performance thanks to the techno-polymer design, light and at the same time robust and reliable.
Applications
The I100 fluidization plates are suitable for fine, light and dry powders, ensuring the absence of flow troubles of material from silos and hoppers at low costs.
Multi-level applications fed continuously, are foreseen in the storage and dosage systems (for example for lime), where the fluidification is used not only during the extraction of material from the silo, but also to keep the material moving during long storage periods.
